Wisdom of God – The wisdom of His Word
The wisdom of God has been evident since our beginning—in the Garden of
Eden. Adam and Eve had free reign of the Garden and everything they
would ever need was provided. But the tree in the middle of the Garden
was the only thing forbidden. God warned Adam and Eve against eating
from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. They disregarded God’s
words. Had they listened to Him and not succumbed to temptation by the
serpent, they would never have known evil. This was the fall, the
failing, of mankind passed onto every generation.
We wonder about all the suffering in life, why bad things happen, and
the evil in the world; but because of Adam’s and Eve’s sin of
disobedience in the Garden, we are all subject to those things. You
might view it as an inheritance left by our ancestors. There has not
been a person since who has not sinned against God—it’s genetic.
Wisdom of God – His wisdom at work
The wisdom of God is demonstrated again in Genesis 6
with the story of Noah. Verses 5-8 say, “God saw how great man’s
wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the
thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. The Lord was grieved
that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain.
So the Lord said, ‘I will wipe mankind whom I have created, from the
face of the earth—men and animals’….but Noah found favor in the eyes of
God.” Only Noah and his family were saved when God sent the flood. It
was by God’s wisdom the earth was replenished with a righteous
generation.
Paul writes in Ephesians 3
about the mystery of the Gospel to the Gentiles. Speaking of God he
says in verse 10, “His intent was that now, through the church, the
manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and
authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose
which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Wisdom of God – Having the Wisdom of God
Can mankind be given the wisdom of God? There are many verses revealing
that God does indeed gift us with His wisdom. None is perhaps as well
known for wisdom as King Solomon. “God gave Solomon wisdom and very
great insight, and a breadth of understanding as measureless as the sand
on the seashore” (1 Kings 4:29). Other examples are found in 1 Kings 5:12, 10:24; Exodus 31:3 (Moses); Deuteronomy 34:9 (Joshua) and Ephesians 1:17 (Paul’s prayer in Ephesus).
After discussing life’s trials, James 1:5
says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God who gives
generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.”
Without wisdom, life can be thorny. Our human wisdom can lead us into
more trouble, life can seem very unfair. If life contained perfect
justice, every one of us would suffer eternally for every shortcoming in
our imperfect lives. It is better than fair that a righteous Savior
bridges the gap between imperfect man and a perfect God with infinite
wisdom. Seeking the wisdom of God is the answer to each and every
individual. If we can turn our heart to Him and allow His Word to guide
us, we will live a life totally embraced with God’s love and wisdom.

Relationship with God
Relationship with God - A Failed Relationship
Do you have a relationship with God? If so, what is that relationship based upon? In an attempt to explain his relationship with God, man often relies on religion to define his degree of spirituality. Emotions, traditions, and logic play integral parts in formulating his religion. Definitions of morality and immortality based on popular beliefs entangle themselves into the tapestry of his religious cloak.
Religion leans heavily upon man’s righteous efforts. It often requires diligent service and works, in expectation of earning an eternal reward. Through each person’s power of self-motivation, self-control, and self-determination, salvation is hoped for. Inevitably, any shortcomings on the part of the individual result in disappointment, chronic guilt, and ultimately an unfulfilled relationship with God.
“Lots of religious people hold firmly to all kinds of religious ideas—whether right or wrong—for all kinds of weak and apparently unfounded, or at least unexamined reasons.”1
Unlike religion, a relationship with God comes from His amazing love and grace reaching out to us. It’s always been God’s desire to reveal Himself to us since creation (Romans 1:20). Adam and Eve “heard the sound of the Lord God as he [God] was walking in the garden [of Eden] in the cool of the day” (Genesis 3:8). In the beginning, God desired an everlasting, loving relationship with man. Adam was made in God’s image then chosen to wisely manage “everything that [had] the breath of life in it.” We were designed for relationships. Therefore, God provided Eve as a companion so Adam could experience an intimate union. But Adam chose to reject and disobey God’s command, producing sin which separated mankind from God (Romans 5:12). Sin brought the breakdown of a relationship with God, resulting in shame and judgment.
Relationship with God - A Restored Relationship
Religion cannot restore our relationship with God again. No human ritual, deed, or sacrifice can provide payment or absolution for our sins. Not a single human being by his own efforts is able to measure up to the glory of God. God’s glory is His splendor, the outward display of His attributes. God desires that we share that splendor, yet our sin prohibits us from experiencing the richness of such a relationship. We might ask, “Why does an omnipotent and supreme God long for a relationship with imperfect, fallen human beings?”
A Personal Relationship with God
Picture the relationship that Jesus shared with His Heavenly Father. Jesus was the only begotten Son of the Father. The relationship the two shared while Jesus was on earth was unparalleled (John 1:14; 6:46; 1 John 4:9). Through Jesus Christ, we experience God’s presence, strengthening our relationship:

- God chooses us for a special purpose before creation (Ephesians 1:4-5). What God began in the past, He will accomplish and complete in the future. It is His purpose, through His Son Jesus Christ, to make us blameless, without a single blemish.
- God considers us children of a Heavenly Father (2 Corinthians 6:18). When redeemed, we are again sealed into a special relationship with God. While sin can enslave us to the point of fear, believers in Jesus are adopted, receiving the same privileges as natural-born. Christians can approach God through an intimate relationship, even calling Him Father (Romans 8:16).
- God values us as precious treasures, capable of honoring Him with our bodies and spirits. We were bought with a special price—“the precious blood of Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 1:19).

The relationship the two shared while Jesus was on earth was unparalleled (John 1:14; 6:46; 1 John 4:9). Through Jesus Christ, we experience God’s presence, strengthening our relationship:
- Love – “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
- Sacrifice – “. . . But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world” (1 John 2:1–2).
- Faithfulness – “God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful” (1 Corinthians 1:9).
- Mercy – “. . . For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Jesus Christ” (Romans 3:23–24).
- Peace – “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).
- Joy – “. . . We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ . . . and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God” (Romans 5:1–2).
- Eternity – “I [Jesus] give them eternal life, and they shall never perish . . . My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one” (John 10:28–30).

Immanuel - Songs Of Praise
A sign shall be given
A virgin will conceive
A human baby bearing
Undiminished deity
The glory of the nations
A light for all to see
That hope for all who will embrace
His warm reality
Immanuel
Our God is with us
And if God is with us
Who could stand against us
Our God is with us
Immanuel
For all those who live in the shadow of death
A glorious light has dawned
For all those who stumble in the darkness
Behold your light has come
Immanuel
Our God
is with us
And if God is with us
Who could stand against us
Our God is with us
Immanuel
So what will be your answer?
Will you hear the call?
Of Him who did not spare His son
But gave him for us all
On earth there is no power
There is no depth or height
That could ever separate us
From the love of God in Christ
Immanuel
Our God is with us
And if God is with us
Who could stand against us
Our God is with us
Immanuel
Immanuel
Our God is with us
And if God is with us
Who could stand against us
Our God is with us
Immanuel

Time For A Change / Waktunya Berubah
There he built an altar to the Lord and called on the name of the Lord. —Genesis 12:8
Many believers long to spend daily time with God, praying and reading His Word. Ironically, they are often distracted by a busy schedule. Frustrations mount as busyness seems to crowd out an opening in their schedule.
Oswald Chambers has wisely commented on the transforming power of even 5 minutes in the presence of the Lord. Indeed, even a short time spent in intercession and the Word still has great value: “It is not the thing on which we spend the most time that moulds us, but the thing that exerts the greatest power. Five minutes with God and His Word is worth more than all the rest of the day.” Now, it may sound like Chambers has made an overstatement. Yet powerful results can come from even a short time of prayer, because God is powerful.
Sometimes our days are filled with busy demands that crowd out time spent in listening to and responding to God. But no matter where we are, any time taken to build our own spiritual “altar” to the Lord as Abram did (Gen. 12:8) opens the door to His transforming power. If you are having trouble establishing a time with God, you could start with just 5 minutes and see where it leads. Our God longs to meet with us and show His power in our lives.

Lord, it’s amazing to me that You, Almighty God,
would want to spend time with me! Thank You.
I stumble with my words at times but am in awe of
You. Thank You that You want to hear from me.

Talk with God—He wants to hear your heart.

I See Grace - New Creation Church
Jesus My help
I call out Your name
I cast my cares on You
Jesus my hope
my tower of strength
my faith has found in You
I see You pierced
wounded for me
when I look to the cross I see
I see grace
sealed by your sacrifice
I see love
reaching for me
Precious blood
washes and sanctifies
Healing flows
setting me free
I see grace
Bearer of sin
Afflicted and tried
You paid redemption's price
Bearing my curse
You set me on high
Your death has brought me life
I see You pierced
wounded for me
when I look to the cross I see
I see grace
sealed by Your sacrifice
I see love
reaching for me
Precious blood
washes and sanctifies
Healing flows
setting me free
I see grace

Blessing - Laura Story
We pray for blessings
We pray for peace
Comfort for family, protection while we sleep
We pray for healing, for prosperity
We pray for Your mighty hand to ease our suffering
All the while, You hear each spoken need
Yet love us way too much to give us lesser things
'Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if a thousand sleepless nights
Are what it takes to know You're near
What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise
We pray for wisdom
Your voice to hear
And we cry in anger when we cannot feel You near
We doubt Your goodness, we doubt Your love
As if every promise from Your Word is not enough
All the while, You hear each desperate plea
And long that we have faith to believe
'Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if a thousand sleepless nights
Are what it takes to know You're near
And what if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise
When friends betray us
When darkness seems to win
We know that pain reminds this heart
That this is not, this is not our home
It's not our home
'Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears
And what if a thousand sleepless nights
Are what it takes to know You're near
What if my greatest disappointments
Or the achings of this life
Is the revealing of a greater thirst this world can't satisfy
And what if trials of this life
The rain, the storms, the hardest nights
Are Your mercies in disguise

Bagaimanakah Nasibku?
1. Rencana Allah
sendiri. Inilah yang dibebut sebagai dosa. Dosa mengakibatkan hubungan dan
persekutuan kita terpisah dari Allah.
“Karena semua orang telah
berbuat dosa dan telah kehilangan kemuliaan Allah.”
Roma 3:23
“Sebab upah dosa ialah maut;
orang lurus, tetapi ujungnya menuju maut.” Amsal 14:12
ketika kita masih berdosa.” Roma 5:8
|
“Sebab jika kamu mengaku
meminta sesuatu kepada-Nya menurut kehendak-Nya.”
1 Yohanes 5:14
Menerima Kristus bearti menyerahkan
Semenjak saudara mengundang Yesus
Maukah saudara bersyukur
atas karuniaNyayang besar ini?
Saudara baru memulai sesuatu
kehidupan baru yang indah di dalam Kristus. Untuk pertumbuhan rohani selanjutnya, kiranya Saudara melakukan
hal-hal tersebut di bawah ini:
1. Membaca Alkitab saudara setiap hari
2. Berbicara kepada Allah dalam doa
setiap hari.
3. Bersaksi kepada orang lain tentang
Kristus yang telah menyelamatkan saudara.
4. Berbakti bersama orang percaya
lainya di dalam gereja.
